I Hate my Day!!!!

I hate my day!!!! I am supposed to be at the meeting of Hospitality Club in campus and for the sake of my stupid slippers I missed the bus.I had to run to get another slippers because it was impossible for me to walk without it. When I got back from my apartment to get the slippers, the bus just left about 5 mins before I reached the bus stop. So, I had to wait for another bus which was supposed to arrive at 2.44, and I waited for one hour and ten minutes but it had never came. After waiting for that long, I decided to go back to my apartment because it was already 3.30 when the bus came. I did not go to attend the meeting since it would be too late to attend the meeting. But I will attend it next month. 

Volunteer with Welcome to America Project

This morning, I went to do volunteer for refugees. The volunteer is actually arranged byWelcome to America Project. It is a non-profit organization to help refugees to settle in their new home, in the US. here is the story how the WTAP organization started.

The first time I heard this organization was from my project coordinator, Allison, she talked about it and she invited our group to go for the presentation of WTAP 2 months ago. First time I attended the presentation of WTAP, I cried like a baby to see the refugees who had been abandoned by their government because of the conflict in their countries. As far as I know, there are few countries that have been helped by the WTAP since 2001, such as Somalia, Iraq, Africa and some other countries. The WTAP helps the refugees to be settled in their new home. The WTAP gives them house supplies which have been donated by the Americans.  After the WTAP gets the supplies, they deliver the supplies to the refugees' new home which has been provided by the US government before they come to the United States. I really was surprised and amazed to know how the Americans,  WTAP and the government of US work together to help the refugees and because of that, I went to do volunteer today from 6.30 AM til 12 PM.

How are you? 

Well here I am perfectly fine, just exhausted because had a loooong day hehe . . . 

But I love my day. Everyday I always have a great experience in here. Today I went to the Paz de Cristo. I had a volunteer there. It is actually a volunteer with my friends (as the group). One of the requirements of the scholarship that I have now is to volunteer maximum 100 hours. I actually have done about 20 hours. 

What Did I Learn Today???

mmmm lemme think what I have learnt today . .  . 

Well I think today I have learnt about PLAGIARISM. My ESL professor talked about it and the details. Here in the US, Plagiarism is BIG NO NO. Tadi beliau memperlihatkan news tentang kasu-kasus plagiarism. Kasus yang pertama itu adalah scandal mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang ada di Universitas of Virginia yang katanya memplagiarism papers mereka and they were in a big trouble because of that. Kalau gak salah mereka disidang. Cerita yang lainnya itu adalah seorang guru or trainer di bidang militer. I forgot his name, I should have written it down. Well, he got caught in doing plagiarism on a book that he wrote. Although he knew that it was wrong, still he did it. I think he lost his job.

Since last week, I did not really have a good time here in rumah keduaku. I had a problem with one of my friend who was just like my sister. The problem came out just because of the cleaning charge. I know that time I was so selfish. I did not agree with her opinion to make cleaning charge for the kitchen because I wanted us to clean the kitchen as soon as we are done with cooking. So I thought it was a good idea if we just clean the kitchen by ourselves after using it. I know I was selfish. I wish it would have never happened tapi apalah daya, nasi telah menjadi bubur, I cannot go back to that time and change it. Last week also I did not have enough time to sleep because I always spent most of my time to do my assignments until 3 AM and just had 3 hours to sleep every day. My best project coordinator told me that the reason I argued with her was because we were so exhausted and could not think clearly. I think she was right.

MGG oh MGG

MGG oh MGG!! Guess what???? Today he came to my dream again and said “Hi” to me. I guess now I am crazy LOL. You have no idea how much I adore him. He is the most adorable and smart actor that I have ever known. I started to like him since the first time I watched Criminal Minds. I spend most of my time just to watch him on YouTube or on the TV show He drives me crazy with his acting. Since this year, every night I always watch him before going to my bed and it might be the reason why he always comes to my dream.

I feel so sad because I have not written anything here since past two weeks. Disini saya super duper sibuk. Banyak pekerjaan yang harus dilakukan tepat waktu. PR semakin menumpuk. So I did not have enough time to write anything here. But, since now I have few mins free, I decided to write about my experience today.
