Hello World!!
I haven’t written anything since last ten days because of lot of
work to do from assignment, volunteer, cooking, talking to my bestie etc.
This week I have learnt about judging people. Well, me and my
friends in our group who are from Brazil, Costa Rica, India, Pakistan and
Turkey had a meeting today with our best project coordinator, Allison. We had
discussion about Judging people, and stereotype.
Here I am gonna share what I have learnt today. In the meeting Allison gave us an interesting activity about saving 3 people at the day when the world ends. Based on the description on the paper that she gave us, there are ten people and we should pick three out of ten. To sum up, my friends and I picked Lisa who was 21 years old; she went to church and carried a book bag. The second one was Jorge; he looked care to his girlfriend because when he walked with his girlfriend he hold her hand. He just came out from gym.
Basically the reason Allison wanted us to have that activity is
just to make sure that we learnt something from it.
So, My Group actually picked Lisa who we were thinking was a good leader and smart girl for the future just because the description about her looked so perfect. We thought that she was the first one who we should pick. In fact, she used to be alcoholic who is now quit from it and always goes to church so God will forgive her. We also picked Jorge who we thought would be a strong man and helpful. As the matter of fact, he actually got fired from his job because he was careless in doing his duty.

After that activity, we tried to discuss about it and for me, it
was really fun. I love the way Allison gave us a lesson.
I really learnt a lot about it. I learn that I should have never
judge people before I get to know about them. The proverb of don’t Judge the
book by its cover is always right. We should have never judge about something
or somebody before we know about it. Complaining or judging something or
someone will not make us satisfied and happy. It will make our brain stop
thinking about good things.
We should try to look at those things in positive ways, because
there is always a reason why something happen or why somebody behaves
differently than us. So you guys, if you think you are better than somebody
else, you are absolutely WRONG!!! Every person is created by God by his or her
own specialty. Nobody is perfect in this world, including you or me. So be
open-minded and try to accept what happens around you and think about it
because things happen for a reason.
Anyways, I am in hurry now because it is 1.37 AM and I want to see
Matthew Gray Gublar before sleeping: D LOL
See you whenever I have time, and next time I will talk about
Stereotype.
Ciaooooo . . . ! :D
