Let's Go GREEN

Hello Guys,

How are you doing???

So today, I went for groceries in Hypermart, the biggest mart in Gorontalo, well it is not big as Wal-Mart LOL. 

I went there alone, then when I was walking through the cashier to pay my groceries, I saw a bag there, a groceries bag. It reminds me Arizona. When I was there, I always used that kind of groceries bag without using plastic bags.

I took the bag and and paid to the cashier for about 50 cents. The cashier put all my groceries in 4 plastic bags. Once she was done with ti, I smiled at her and took everything out of the plastics and put my groceries on the bag I just bought. Guess what???

Everybody who were on the queue looked at me. I think they might think I was a fool or a freak. But then I looked at the cashier and gave the plastic bags back to her and said thank you with a smile. She looked at me surprisingly and asked me 

" Why did you take everything out of the plastic bags?" I smiled at her and said " well, the reason why this supermarket sells this groceries bag because they want everybody to go Green and save the EARTH" she looked at me with a confused look and laughed at me. Everybody behind me was just smiled because they think I am such a stupid person. 

It is really bad for our country, because people here are not familiar with the program of Go Green.  

Guys, let's help our world by using this kind of bag instead of using plastic bag because it will take 500 years to unravel the plastic bags. Let's go green. 

Now, I am thinking to have a project of volunteering where the volunteers will focus in cleaning the city and start to learn about Go Green. May be I should make a presentation why it is important to start being green. People here are not familiar with it, and this is one of my responsibilities as the agent of change. 

I am thinking to have this project of volunteering with my community and with the help of the U.S Embassy. May be they can help with the key speakers for go Green. We will show the people about the advantages of being Green. 

I think this project is going to be a big hit for this city. 

Well, guys please pray for me so I can make it happen. I am really excited to make this happen and I hope I will get support from everybody here. 

Anyway, this is the story for today . . . hehehe 

I need to get rest because tomorrow I have to go back to work. Monday is coming LOL.
