Hello World,
Whad Up???
Yay!!! I am so happy!! :D
So, here I am gonna give you guys
update . . .
Yesterday morning, since it
was Sunday, I woke up early morning
around 5.20 and went to ride my new bike!! :D Surprising? I know!!! Yeah I got my first and new bike!!! :D
Alhamdulillah . . .
I rode it to the one
of the National Hero Tourism Site “
Taruna” which is about 3 kilometers from my dorm. It was actually my first time
riding bike again after 1 year . . . the last time I rode my bike when I was in
Arizona. I was super confused which side of the street I should use to ride my
bike :D hahaha It felt strange for me. But I finally figured it out anyway :D.
Once I arrived at Taruna I
saw around thousands of people were doing exercise “Aerobic”. I was really surprised. And guess what came first on my mind??? “ I
think our volunteer project for the Clean Indonesia will be succeed if we do it
on Sunday like what my group and I planned” (I will give the update about our
volunteer project which my group and I working on and I am really excited for
this project).
Anw, the aerobic was fun and funny because most of the people
who came for Aerobic, they do not really know the moves of the instructors so
they made new moves, including me LOL.
Once I was done with it, I walked
around the site and Oh My God, there were bunch of garbage everywhere. It is
unbelievable to see garbage at the national-hero tourism site. All I have on my
head was just “ what are the governments do and think about this?” But well,
for now I cannot do anything except planning for Clean Indonesia Project.
While I was walking on the site,
there was like a street talk . . people talk in public about anything and I got
picked by those people who I didn’t know and handed me a microphone. They wanted
me to speak in public about anything, and guess what I talked about? Hahaha I
talked about “Studying English” & “Garbage” hahahaha . . . seriously everybody who was walking
passed by me, they stopped, listened and stared at me hahaha I feel it was
little bit awkward. But I kept talking for about 4 or 5 minutes. And
Alhamdulillah everybody gave me shout out and clapped their hands: D and once I
was done talking, there was a man came to me and said “ Hi, I am Ronald
Hutagalung and I am the one who owns the Public Speaking Club, can you join me
in our program of public speaking club and be one of our instructors??? also I
want you to teach English for my children and me” oh I feel like I was in seven
heaven :D Happy and flattered :D
I didn’t know that I was be able
or may be “good” in speaking in public :D hahaha I remembered when I had
Hospitality Management Class with Juan, our teacher, Janelle was asking us a
question which needed to be explained with our own words and we should talk in
front of the class about the “waste management” hahaha that time, Juan and I
just looked at each other and smiled. We tried to do what Janelle said but once
we both were done, Janelle said “That WAS NOT painful, was it???” hahahaha and
since that time, Juan and I promised that we would learn how to talk in public
without being nervous :D well I guess now I am better than before, Juju :D
yay!! I made it hahahha :D
once I was done with
public speaking I took my bike and left the site. I was planning to ride my
bike to my dorm to get my sunglasses. Then I continued my plan for the weekend
to go around Gorontalo with my new bike. Since I did not know where to spend my
weekend (because I don’t have friend anymore to spend my weekend with), I went
to Telaga which is about another 4 or 5
kilometers from my place. I know it sounds crazy, but I did not want to spend
my weekend just by staying at my dorm and doing nothing. I want to spend every
minute I have for something useful and that’s me.
On my way to Telaga, oh my God.
The traffic was horrible. I was confused. I got
butterflies on my stomach. I was scared if I would be hit by car or
motorcycle. I got scared because the way people drive motorbike or car here are
totally different and horrible. Uh . . .
but Alhamdulillah I was survived and reached my friend’s “Ka Mona” house in 37
minutes by bike :D hahahaha and luckily, when I got at her house, she served me
delicious food : rice, grilled fish and Bubur Manado (Traditional food). I felt
like a special guest :D haha . . thanks
ka Mona for the red carpet treatment :D
I spent my time talking to ka
Mona about my work, and my life . . Cause I had not talked to her for the last 3
months. I think she is the only woman here I talked about my problems and my
life since I came back from the US. Thank you ka Mona for the treatment and
suggestions. I love you.
I spent about 5 hours in her
house and then I decided to go back to my dorm around 3 PM again by riding my
bike hahaha and I arrived at my dorm around 5 PM I think. It took me about 2
hours riding the bike because the traffic even worst. When I arrived in my dorm
and laid on my bed, oh my God, I could feel how painful my body was :D I just
realized it. Since I was thinking that tomorrow I should go to work with a
fresh look, I should get massage :D and yeah I went out again for massage
hahaha . . the massage was really good and I almost fell asleep. This morning
when I woke up, I felt better although had little bit pain on my body :D
hahahaha
Anw, these all are my updates
what I have been doing yesterday. It was fun.
Thank you guys for keep thinking
about me. The reason why I wrote this, because you always asked me to give
update what happening here and things that I learn.
I will see you next time, when I
have something exciting to tell.
Have a good day,
Ca cao and Au Revoir
From Indonesia with love,
Nur
