This is another lesson I am writing for you. I am writing this for you because as I always tell you "I want you to learn from things I have been through or things I learnt from other people" I want you to learn all these because I hope that you will never face all the problems I had been through. I want you to read my posts carefully because every single post is very important for your future as well.
I want to tell you that in your life, you will have so many choices. you need to decide everything by yourself when you grow up. As your mom, I can only choose things for you until you are fifteen. Why fifteen? because for me, once you are fifteen, I will let you decide anything by yourself. You can ask my opinions about things you want to discuss with me, but I will never decide it for you. I trust you to decide anything once you are fifteen because my mom, your grandma, never decide anything for me once she knew that I grew up and it was since I was in Senior High School, so I want to trust you the way your grandma trusted me.
But, I also want to tell you that you have to be really careful to take decision because sometimes it is not as easy as we think. I want you to think straightly and wisely. You need to make sure that no one will get hurt with any decision you take. Also, please keep in your mind that I always want you to be consistent with your promises and consistent with yourself.
In this world, most of people don't commit or consistent with themselves. You will find those kind of people around you, People are supposed to live in this earth with one goal " to learn" but based on my experiences, most of people live in this world just to fill their ego, just to make sure that they eat and live without any problems. In this case, people will fight, argue, hate each other, or even kill each other because they let their ego win, also, they have no goal in their life, so they just live and eat everyday as long as they survive in this world.
I don't want you to be like those kind of people. I expect you to be different. I expect you not to let your ego win, I want you to live your life with so much lessons and the MOST important, I expect you to be a CONSISTENT person. I want you to be brave and fight for anything as long as it is right. No matter how much people do not like you because of it.
I wrote consistent with capital letters because I want your attention on that word.
I need you to be a consistent person because everyday you will face so many different kind of people, you will meet good and bad people. Those people will influence you on your daily life. But remember, if you are a consistent person, no matter how many people influence you, no one will ever be able to do that. In short words, no one can tell you what to do and what not to do, your decide everything by yourself.
In your life, you will see people arguing each other everywhere, don't be surprised. It happens. But what I want you to learn from those kind of problems; I expect you to be a person who will say RIGHT when it is Right and WRONG when it is Wrong. I hope I will never see you doing something's wrong just because many people are doing it. I want you to do what is RIGHT even no one is doing it. I want you to be yourself and to be a person who cannot be controlled by anyone, you can be controlled by the rules only. So please do what is RIGHT even everyone doesn't like it. Do not ever be someone who will do something because the majority is doing it.
I have been in those kind of situation where everyone does not like me because the way I am, because I always try to do what is right. For me, I do not care who they are, when they are wrong, it is wrong no matter what position they have. But it is risky as well. People do not like me, even my manager who I used to admire, now does not like me because I keep trying to be myself and trying to stand for what is right although most of the people there are on the different page with me. It is really not fair if we let right things to be wrong and wrong things to be right.
