Hi Hi Hi,
Whad up, guys?
Havent written anything for
ages.
Since I got the job at the
hotel, I didn’t really have time to write about my life here in Indonesia. So,
here are the updates LOL :D
I got the job at the only
one 4 star hotel in the city. I was a training coordinator but now I got
promoted as the HR Supervisor, see, isn’t it cool? You just worked for couple
of months and you get promoted! Alhamdulillah, I am thanking God for giving me
this opportunity to show people that I can reach my dreams. InshAllah . . .
amin …
So basically, I love my job
here. Coordinating or supervising 145 employees and take care all their needs,
including the salary, hiring new employees, giving training, and everything
related to develop the Human Resources of the employees. But the bad thing that
I don’t like here is, I don’t really have privacy, people love gossiping here.
For me, gossiping is just pain in the. Every day, there is always a hot topic
that the employees talk about and it is always about neck negative things. Aaa
.. I wish I could stop them from gossiping unimportant things.
Anyway, lets end the
discussion about my job. Lets talk about fun here :D
YAY!!! With a very happy
and smiling face, I wanna tell you guys that here, in Gorontalo, I have found a
new BESTIE!!!! Alhamdulillah!!!
I just couldn’t believe
that I met such a super duper nice, caring, lovely, and down to earth person
like him here in Indonesia. All I knew was “I would never find a super nice guy
like him in Indonesia” but thank God, HE brought him into my life. He has almost
all Juan’s and Yermi’s characters, that’s the most important
thing!!!
You guys must be curious to
know his name LOL :D
So his name is Hendrik. He
was “Uti Gorontalo (Tourism ambassador in 2010)”. Well yeah, I think he
deserved to get that title because seriously, as people said, he has 3 Bs :D
Brain, Behavior and Beauty. ROFL.
I met him at the
supermarket. Well, my other friend introduced me to him. Basically, Hendrik was
in the same faculty with me when I was in the University. At that time, I knew,
he looked familiar to me (in fact, I think I used to admire him when I was in
the University) LOL. So that time, my friend, Angky asked me to help him to
find a gift for his GF and Hendrik was there too, looking for the gift for
Angky’s GF. After Angky introduced us, we went to the mall and trying to
find the gift together, the three of us. And honestly, when I walked with both
of them, I felt like I was with Yermi and Juan. It reminded me of my Costa
Ricans best friends. Because we laughed and make jokes just like the way
I used to with Yermi and Juan.
So that’s how I met
Hendrik.
Then we became friends
couple of weeks ago. I am glad to finally found a friend like him. He is always
there for me whenever I need his help. Or whenever I want to go out with my
other friends. He almost never say “No” to all the things that I ask from him
whether to go to the beach, to hang out or just for having fun, he would always
come…
And . . . I think, Hendrik
is half Indonesian and half American because the way he sees, thinks, and talks
about everything is just different compared to other Indonesians that I know.
He even always chooses his words carefully when he talks. One thing that
I like from him which is the reason why I said he is half Indonesian and half
American, because he always asks me “Are you Okay with this? Or with that?”
haha I had never had any Indonesian friend who asked me that way.
Or when we make an appointment to make or to do something, he would tell me the
timing which I never found in most of my Indonesian friends because it is
very difficult to arrange time with people here. Also, his English is TOP NOTCH
:D LOL.
YAY!!! Finally, I am
enjoying my life here with a new friend who understands me. My life was bored
when I just came back from the U.S. I didn’t have any friend at all. I don’t
know, may be because most of people here are not real, or may be just because I
don’t like the way they talk or I don’t like them because most of the time they
just use their time for gossiping or talking unimportant things and I seriously
hate it or may be, they don’t like me because the way I am LOL.
And . . . here is another
great news about me,
Last night, Hendrik and I
had fun!!! We curved the pumpkins!!! YAY!! We made Jack O’ Lantern. That was
super fun. I felt like I was in the United States, celebrating Halloween LOL
:D. Even people don’t celebrate Halloween here, but we did last night :D
it was so much fun. We curved the pumpkins, laughed and had hamburgers hahaha
:D we brought American Culture to Indonesia!!! ROFL.
I am so blessed to have
Hendrik here as my friend. Alhamdulillah. . .
To all my friends, thank
you so much for being there for me and thank you for teaching me lesson in this
life. And you guys know how meaningful a “FRIENDSHIP” for me. I love you
all and I just wish we could be together again, one day . . . InshAllah . .
amin . . .
For Hendrik, WELCOME to my
life (Simple Plan) :D hahaha
Thank you for all your
supports to me. And for telling me about your religion. I wouldn’t have fun
here in Gorontalo if I didn’t have you :D Angky would never agree to all my
crazy ideas as you did LOL. Thank you for bringing the joy into my life. And I
am glad you are with me now because I always need a friend to practice my
English hahahaha :D otherwise, my English will be worst if I never practice :D
LOL. I just couldn’t stop thanking God for bringing you into my life :D
Thank you so much, Gracias,
Merci Beacoup, Danke, Shukria, Arigato :D LOL
So, those are the updates
of my life for my friends who miss me or my postings LOL :D
Now I have to go, because
my friend invites me to have Beef at her home (still celebrating Idul Adha) LOL
I promise I will try to
write at least 2 or 3 times a month :D haha
Thank you for visiting my
blog :D
Ca cao . .
From Indonesia with love,
Nur
